Video Recap of Green Bay Packers vs Atlanta Falcons Divisional Playoff Game

The announcers were excited throughout the highlight footage.. Masterful performance by Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the Packers team.

Running Game + Defense + Rodgers = Playoff Win Packers 21, Eagles 16

It doesn’t matter how you spin it…the Green Bay Packers have proven over and over that they are a force to be reckoned with.

Winning the Wild Card game over the Eagles today was a shining example of a team that  has become balanced and in sync.

We’ve depended on Rodgers to pull the team to victory on many occasions. We’ve played games where the win was on the defense’s broad shoulders… We’ve even needed a little luck to put W in the Win/Lose column.

But today, the Packers showed the world that they are truly a TEAM.

I’ve been preaching to the choir about RB James Starks since he became healthy enough to get off of PUP.  I’ve tried to understand how coach McCarthy could sacrifice the running game because he didn’t like what Starks could do on special teams. Continue reading

Hey Favre! Good Bye to YOU!

So the Vikes are officially done for. They are going home. Season over… wah wah wah.. (insert sad trombone here.)

I don’t suppose there will be some ridiculous press conference announcing yet another Brett Favre retirement.  Why would there be? He’s taken the year off pretty much, except for the few games he managed to play in and get another boo-boo of some sort.

All I have to say is , thank god! Don’t let the door hit ya!.. Good bye to you!

Although I have a feeling the girls with lawsuits won’t let him rest comfortably on the ranch in Hattiesburg…and we’ll probably have to endure more headlines about his sexcapades..eyes rolling of course.

The legacy is tarnished. There isn’t enough Tarn-ex in the world to undo the damage he has done the past two years.  He goes out an old, hobbled failure.

What do you know about that? Well, here’s a song to send him along his way.. By the group fitting.

Packers’ Charles Woodson Voted Ed Block Courage Award Winner

Green Bay Packers Corner, Charles Woodson was surprised to learn he was chosen by his team mates for this honor.  But the team made it clear, Woodson is a special player and has a flawless work ethic.
Tramon Williams said of Woodson:

“He’s always there on Sunday, and when it’s all said and done, that’s what really counts,” Williams said. “Obviously everyone respects a guy who comes and gives their all for the team, even when they’re hurt, and that just says a lot about a player and a person off the field, the character he has.”

Congratulations to Charles Woodson!
